I wonder how many teenagers feel the way I do. I realize I’m not better than anyone else and I never claimed I am, but I don’t understand why everyone is so superficial and uncultured. How does one have no knowledge about music or history or art or movies or authors. That makes no sense to me. Party all you want, take the advice of others and stay on the surface of things, but one day the sense of satisfaction from it will run out and you’ll have nothing substantial to hold on to.
